After completing her studies at the University of Music and Art in Bratislava, Slovakia (Puppetry) followed by a short maternity leave, Marika was asked to become a lecturer at the University to teach the art of puppetry.
She has been actively involved with puppet theatres across Slovakia as an actor, a director and a teacher throughout the country ever since.
For the past 12 years she has been regularly participating in the puppetry workshops for children puppetry groups in Dunajska Streda, Slovakia.
In addition, Marika is a co-organiser and specialist guarantor consultant of Podunajska Spring, a yearly event which is the Slovak national exhibition of amateur children theatres and puppetry groups.
Marika has been working for Červený Nos form the beginning as a Clowndoctor and the Clown-Coordinator.
During my workshop, puppetry thinking, feeling and expressions will be engaged all the time. Also, you will get a chance to work with improvised puppets made from everyday use objects as well as classic, different techniques puppets such as marionettes, manyushkas and vayangs.
I sincerely hope that my workshop inspires you in a way that will be positively reflected in your further work as clown doctors.
