He has been a member of Piros Orr Bohócdoktorok Alapítvány, the Hungarian RED NOSES Clowndoctors Foundation, since it was founded in 1996. In cooperation with Giora Seeliger, Janos has been the Artistic Director of Piros Orr since the year 2000.
In addition to his work at the foundation he gives trainings in theatres. Also in this year he started work with a training series for social workers.
Traditional clown work often incorporates elements of other performing arts like musicals, dance or puppetry. Due to the distinctively different thought patterns of the clown, these elements undergo a change giving them a new perspective.
This is also the same with magic.
This workshop is a crossover. It is about the encounter of different worlds. The aim of this course is to find connection between the world of the magician and that of the clown.
- How to combine defined dramaturgy of magic tricks with improvised play?
- How to make plays in couple or with more person from a solo act?
- How to use magic tricks in traditional clown couples act (small-big,
partners, duel, twins)?
- How to initiate public into playing?
- How can the clown use tools?
- How to learn 100 magic tricks in 3 days?
